An in-depth exploration of working with neurodivergent clients: the course will look at the common themes and challenges that neurodivergent people bring to therapy. The workshops will provide a broader explanation and discussion of the cognitive strengths and challenges of working with neurodivergent clients.
All the sessions have plenty of room for discussion and reflection.
They will be delivered in an open and relaxed format where you will be encouraged to join in. This is an evolving area of research and there are still many unknowns. This course will equip you with a tool kit to confidently manage working with neurodivergent clients.

Doctor Tanya Banfield
Doctor Tanya Banfield is a Chartered Forensic Psychologist who has been providing coaching, therapy, and psychology services since 2015.
Tanya has worked as a psychologist in several social justice and educational settings, including HMP Dartmoor and HMP Portland, before starting her private practice in 2022.
Tanya specialises in working with people who identify as, or have a diagnosis of, Autism. She has a particular interest in working with people with combined diagnoses, such as Autism and ADHD. Tanya is neurodivergent and brings her unique perspective, being from two marginalised groups to her work in the criminal justice system.
Her core values are centred around promoting marginalised groups, advocacy, and inclusion.
