About Our Therapy Rooms
As therapists ourselves we understand the need for a safe, caring, warm environment to meet with clients. To have relaxed comfortable seating, away from distractions in a professional space – and outside your own home, can be both beneficial for you as the counsellor or coach and the recipient of the session.
Our smaller rooms are perfect for individual and couples counselling sessions and many of our advanced trainees take the opportunity to utilise this space. Would these rooms suit your needs? The Widdowson Room
The Widdowson Room is a small intimate room, with superb roof top views over the Edinburgh skyline. It is thoughtfully decorated with a blue and green theme and has soft furnishings, soft lighting and a desk for writing up client notes, admin or online working. Seating for up to 3 people, The Widdowson Room is ideal for individual counselling or couples work. This room is also suitable for assessments, interviews and consultations.

The Clarkson Room
With a bright outlook over the street below, light floods in the large window. Decorated with a sunflower yellow, poppy red and burnt orange theme, this room has a 3-seater sofa, 3 comfortable chairs, soft lighting and soft furnishings. Comfortably holding up to 6 people, The Clarkson Room is perfect for individual, couples counselling or family work. It is also excellent for supervision, smaller meetings or workshops.

The Library Room
The Library Room, is a stunning space and as you can imagine has a fascinating collection of counselling and psychotherapy books. It is tastefully decorated with an autumnal theme and has two 2-seater sofas, comfy chairs, soft furnishings and soft lighting. Holding up to 9 people this room works well for family work, small meetings, workshops or presentations. It can also facilitate group coaching sessions.

- We use the online booking system Skedda which is super easy to use, whilst giving you complete autonomy of room booking according to your need (subject to availability) – our Administrator will be in touch following your enquiry and completion of our Contract regarding use

- Access to the communal kitchen (on ground floor), with use of microwave, kettle and fridge
- Access to toilet on third floor

- The rooms can be hired hourly, half day or full day

Room Rates
- Hourly rate £12 per hour
- Reduced hourly rate of £10 per hour when booking a minimum of 4 consecutive hours per week
- We offer a preferential rate for newly qualified practitioners who have recently set up in private practice
- We offer a preferential rate for charitable organisations
