The Art of The Therapeutic Storyteller - Online

To support practitioners in these unprecedented and challenging times, we are delighted to offer this 1 day CPD workshop delivered to you online, via Zoom at a reduced price of £40.  We will provide you with the Zoom joining instructions.

Facilitator

Jennie Miller CTA (P) PTSTA (P)

Who is it aimed at?

Counselling & psychotherapy students to experienced practitioners.

Course Outline

Story telling is an ancient art stretching back thousands of years; as therapists we are accustomed to listening to our client’s stories but in this workshop, we look at the practitioner becoming the storyteller and the benefits this can have to the therapeutic relationship and work. Telling a story is dropping a pebble into the unconscious, from the ripples that follow there is learning, wonderings and questions to be explored.

Aims

To learn how this enchanting way of working can be added to a practitioner’s practice.

Learning Outcomes

To understand what stories may mean for you and your practice. How to start integrating this into your work should you choose to do so.

Course Structure

A mixture of didactic teaching, group discussion, practice and fun.
