Hot off the Press

An Incredible Academic Year Closes

As our Academic Year draws to a close and students and trainers take a well-earned rest, we reflect on a fantastic 10 months at Physis Scotland.  Each year the quality and consistent effort shown by our students amaze us. We are so proud of all their achievements.  The last few weekends in June, when students come together and present their work, are always an exciting time. We recognise this is the accumulation of months of focused hard work by the students.  It is also due to our incredible team of expert trainers and support advisors, that contribute to the fabulous finale.

Of course, it is not all just hard work, as Year Groups we have enjoyed some fun nights out – celebrating success and cheering each other on.  Community is such an important element of Physis Scotland and Transactional Analysis.

We look forward with excitement to what the Academic Year 2023/24 will bring.

Stepping out of our Comfort Zone

We reach out to share our training programmes and invite people to develop their communication skills, understand the dynamics of interpersonal relationships or take that step into a new career path.

In this digital world, we need to be ‘seen’, to raise awareness of how we can impact people’s lives and what we offer.  So stepping out of our comfort zone, we invited specialist brand photographer, Ema Pruteanu to spend a day with us. With the support of some wonderful volunteer students, Ema has created a set of images that we can share on our digital platforms.  Ema put us at ease and we are delighted with the results.  These images are dropping into our website and popping up on our socials.

Welcome to Nea Clark PTSTA (P)

Learning Student Support Advisor

At Physis Scotland, we are passionate about inclusivity and strive to provide the right conditions and support to enable our students to grow, thrive and reach their full potential.

With an increasing number of students identifying as neurodivergent, we are delighted to welcome Nea Clark to our team in her capacity as Learning Student Support Advisor. From September, Nea will be available to support students who have additional learning support needs, which they feel may impact on their learning. Nea can support students to identify what steps they can put in place to support their learning such as time management, planning, mind mapping and reasonable adjustments. Nea will liaise closely with Mary, our Academic Student Support Advisor and the two Fionas, Directors of Training.

We have great pleasure in introducing you to Nea…

‘My name is Nea Clark. I am a Psychotherapist (MSc), Supervisor, Trainer, Coach and NLP practitioner. I work with adults and specialise in neurodiversity. Most of my clients/supervisees are diagnosed with ADHD or other neurodivergent conditions. I work with individuals, couples and groups, supporting them to understand and embrace their personal wiring, so they can effectively minimize stress and maximize well-being.
I am neurodivergent myself with dyslexia and ADHD, and also a mother of a teenager who has dyslexia and ADHD.’
