New Academic Year
We are already two months into the new Academic year and students are settling into their year groups. We are delighted for the first time to have two cohorts studying the Foundation Certificate in Transactional Analysis – such was the demand for places. Our Core Tutors, across all the years, are so impressed with the energy and commitment to hard work, that so many of the students are bringing to their weekends at Drumsheugh Gardens. We look forward to supporting and enabling their learning over the winter months.
The Scottish Transactional Analysis Association (STAA) needs you.
The STAA promotes the use of Transactional Analysis across Scotland for example by developing the TA community in Scotland and promoting the use of TA in psychology, education and business.
Please join or re-join the STAA! The STAA membership has fallen over the pandemic and they are keen to re-connect our TA community and to have an in-person Conference in 2023. Find out more about membership and how to join.
They also need Committee members – if you are interested in this, please contact them at mail@scottishta.org.uk

CPD: Transcultural and Intersectional Ego State Model of the Self
Evening online workshop 8th December 2022 6pm – 8pm
Sold Out – if you are keen to join, please email us and we can let you know if a cancellation emerges.
Victoria Baskerville, TSTA recently published an article in the Transactional Analysis Journal* on an exciting new Ego State model. We are absolutely thrilled to invite you to join Victoria as she presents the model.
A transcultural and intersectional Ego State model considering the influence of transculture and intersectional identity on self and other. The model considers the intersect and interplay between race, gender, and other cultural selves, accounting for the complexity of cultural experience and narrative.
Participants will be invited to consider their transcultural experience and locate their intersectional identity, thus accounting for power dynamics.
