Last weekend was a little bittersweet, marking the transition between Physis Training Ltd and Physis Scotland. Lots of celebrations to recognise students achievements and also lots of tears and sadness as our esteemed and much loved colleague Barbara Clarkson stepped down as Director of Physis Training Ltd, leaving the running of the training programme under the leadership of the two Fionas.
Words cannot express the deep love, admiration and gratitude we feel for Barbara. We wish her every success for the next chapter in her life.
Last month we were delighted to welcome our colleague Susie Hewitt, PTSTA to our Physis Scotland team. In our May blog, Susie shared her reflections, following a trip to Physis to meet our Foundation Year Group, under the title ‘Challenges, Inspiration and Focus; How TA Holds My Process’.
Susie recognises that her TA training journey has enabled transformational change in her and continues to do so as a psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor. She highlights some of the challenges we face in our field, for example our profession being valued by government and employers, public perception of mental health and how we support our clients and harnessing technology to deliver our services.
Read Susie’s reflections in our blog.
