Scholarship
and Bursaries
Physis Scotland are offering a bursary and scholarship to facilitate access to counselling and psychotherapy training for those who meet the eligibility and qualification criteria outlined below. Applications will be assessed by an independent panel of international psychotherapists and trainers.

Eligibility Checklist
Applicants must meet all the following criteria to proceed​:

Have successfully completed the Foundation Year (Awards are not open to Foundation students).

Have passed their previous academic year of training.

Am a current member of UKATA.

Am an existing Physis Scotland student (Required for Bursary applicants).

Financial Commitment: I confirm I have the financial means to pay for my own personal therapy and clinical supervision, as these are not covered by the award.
Qualification Criteria (UKCP Aligned)
To be eligible for these funds, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

Financial Need: I am in need of support due to personal circumstances (e.g., single parent, low-income household, carer).

Under-represented Groups: I identify as being from a Black, Asian, or minoritised ethnic background; I have a disability; or I identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and/or non-binary).

Care Experienced: I have spent time in the care system (provide evidence).
