New Terms, New Beginnings, New Students

Path through autumnal trees

As autumn settles in and the days take on a different rhythm, we at Physis Scotland are delighted to welcome a new term – and with it, a new community of students beginning their training journey with us.

Each fresh intake brings a unique energy: curiosity, anticipation, a little nervousness perhaps, but above all, a sense of possibility. The first steps into the training rooms mark more than just the start of a course. They signal the beginning of a personal and professional journey that can be transformative – not only for our students but also for the people they will go on to work with.

Endings and beginnings often sit side by side. While some of our current cohorts are approaching the final stages of their studies, others are just stepping into the circle for the very first time; some online as we welcome our COSCA Skills course students for the first time and also our new Foundation Year face to face course students. This rhythm reminds us that learning is always in motion: we are continually arriving, deepening, and moving forward.

At Physis Scotland, we are proud to provide a safe, supportive, and rigorous training environments whether it be online or in person where our students can grow in knowledge, skill, and self-awareness. We recognise that the start of training in counselling and psychotherapy can be both exciting and demanding, and we walk alongside our students as they navigate the path ahead.

To our new students – welcome. To our continuing students – we are so glad to keep learning with you. And to our graduates – your endings are also new beginnings, as you take your learning into your practice and communities.

Here’s to the start of another rich and inspiring term.
