Extended Training Group

We are delighted to confirm our Extended Training Group commencing in September 2025.

Saturday 13 September 2025, 10am

Are you looking for ways to keep on track and stay connected after formal TA training? If so, the Physis Scotland Extended Training Group could be just what you are looking for!

Physis Scotland is delighted to be offering an online Extended Training Group (6 days over 8 months) starting this August to support practitioners who have completed their formal TA training and want to stay connected to other practitioners in a CPD group. The group will be facilitated by Ronen Stilman, TSTA.

The group will be open to trainees who have completed three years of core TA training (Foundation Year, Advanced Years 1 and 2). It will be a closed group for the academic year and have a maximum of 10 members.

What you will gain
  • Development of your identity as a practitioner through presentations of theory of your own choice/interest

  • The ability to extend your knowledge of TA and the therapeutic process through further theory input by your trainer

  • An opportunity to share articles

  • Ongoing support if you have some written work to complete within a group setting

  • Supervision of your clinical work and/or exam process

  • An opportunity to discuss a range of ethical dilemmas

  • Receive group support and discussion about the Diploma Exam, UKCP registration and/or CTA pathway

  • The opportunity to participate in a mock exam – either candidate or examiner

The Extended Training Group meets from 10am – 5pm UK time. The content of the days will be contracted for at the beginning of each day, depending on the needs and wants of the group members.

Recognition

A Physis Scotland Certificate of Attendance will be awarded on successful completion of the course.
