Growing and Developing in 2021

Hot Off the Press

At Physis Scotland, as Spring emerges out of a challenging few months for so many, we tentatively welcome the opening up of the UK and hope all the safety measures allow us, as a community to meet in person again soon.  In the meantime, we are delighted to continue to host online, an exciting programme of training and CPD for you.  Have a browse below… we are sure you will find something to boost your knowledge and skills, to support you in your personal development.

We have been growing and developing our team and the two Fionas are absolutely thrilled that two of our much loved and respected colleagues have accepted our invitation to join us as partners/directors at Physis Scotland.  Sheila Beare PTSTA, a core tutor on the Foundation Year and Jennie Miller, PTSTA trainer and facilitator of the Certificate in Couples Work, will be helping us shape the future direction for Physis Scotland. Find out more about Shelia and Jennie on our ‘Meet the Team‘ web page.

How Will We Begin?

In February, Matthew Elton, former Academic Student Support Adviser for Physis Scotland, wrote a blog for us, sharing one of the themes explored in a workshop he ran at the 2020 STAA conference ‘Creating a New Therapy for Each Client’. He outlines his experiences of how to start a session with a client and if you have not had a chance to read yet, you might find some helpful ideas here in his blog.
