CPD Workshop
Jennie Miller CTA (P) PTSTA (P)
Counselling & psychotherapy students to experienced practitioners.
Story telling is an ancient art stretching back thousands of years; as therapists we are accustomed to listening to our client’s stories but in this workshop, we look at the practitioner becoming the storyteller and the benefits this can have to the therapeutic relationship and work. Telling a story is dropping a pebble into the unconscious, from the ripples that follow there is learning, wonderings and questions to be explored.
To learn how this enchanting way of working can be added to a practitioner’s practice.
To understand what stories may mean for you and your practice. How to start integrating this into your work should you choose to do so.
A mixture of didactic teaching, group discussion, practice and fun.
