This is a workshop for people who would like to increase their understanding about how counselling / psychotherapy can help a client healthily re-wire their brains. It is aimed at counsellors, psychotherapists and mental health care professionals.

Participants will learn about:
• A basic understanding of Neuropsychotherapy
• How we can explain to clients / patients that therapy can help rewire their brain to a happier and healthier state
• Therapeutic interventions informed by neuroscientists/neuropsychotherapists

Facilitators Biography:
Susie Hewitt, PTSTA runs a thriving private practice in Manchester where she works with individuals, couples, families and several psychotherapy groups. She supervises therapists and counsellors from various modalities and settings and is a Primary Course Tutor at Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy. She has written about and is particularly interested in Adoption & Family Systems Therapy.
