Physis Scotland, in collaboration with The Link Centre, would like to offer this online workshop for supervisors, trainers, and sponsors of students who are writing, or preparing to write, the CTA Written Exam.
The session will help you to clarify standards (including what would meet postgraduate writing standards), the core competencies and requirements of the exam, what makes a ‘good’ exam, and what can lead to a deferral.
Our aim is to support you to feel confident in supervising/training towards the Written Exam and to help you give confident, practical, support to your students through what can be a challenging process for them. The generic aspects of the exam are applicable to all four fields of application.
The 90 minute sessions will be facilitated by Helen Rowland PTSTA (P) and Rebecca Davies CTA (P). Helen sits on the UKATA Exam Committee, served as the UKATA Written Exam Coordinator 2016 – 2019, and is the new Exam Preparation Group tutor at Physis Scotland. Rebecca is a Written Exam Marker for UKATA, and a core tutor at The Link Centre and will be running their Exam Preparation Group from the Autumn. Both facilitators come with knowledge, experience, and a wealth of enthusiasm for supporting everyone in the exam process.
Places will be limited to 20 participants in order to allow plenty of time for individual questions and discussions.
